Intensive pulsed light (IPL) is an incoherent light source with a broadband pulsed light. Various active and passive safety glasses can protect your eyes from the high-energy pulsed light.
Passive safety goggles are absorption filters which, due to their properties, attenuate the intense flash light depending on the Shade (2, 3 or 5) in accordance with EN 169.
A special feature, are the grey absorption filters F-4. These are certified according to IPL standard EN 12609-1 and offer a better colour fastness than the green filters.
Our active Shutter glasses offer the optimal solution for
IPL applications. They combine excellent vision in the passive state with high protection during the IPL flash.
The Shutter technology reacts in microseconds to the IPL flash, darkens the lenses lightning fast and thus protects the wearer against possible eye injuries.
